Hello from India!
First things first- sorry we havent blogged in so long- for the last part of our south east asia trip internet access became scarce and we were just so busy! No we are at Familia in India, our first stop here in our last country. For those of you who dont know- its the charity orphanage and school where I (Izzy) spent some time in 2007. So Ive come back to visit and brought Katie along. Weve been doing some helping in the reception and year one classes- quite challenging as some of them dont speak English very well, (some hardly at all) but it can be fun! Spending another week and a bit here then heading off to travel back to Mumbai for our flight home on the 18th of May. We shall be going to Darjeeling, Varanasi, Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur and Goa along the way though!
To catch up a little, the rest of our Asia trip was fantastic and we were sad to say goodbye to our great group. We ended up back in Singapore and spent a relaxing couple of days round and about the city before our marathon trip up to India.
We will be heading into Calcutta for a night on the 20th of April so will update more then- try and bring this blog back up to speed!
For now- love to all at home, we miss you all and look forward to seeing you all again next month!
All our love, Izzy and Katie

Don't miss Sarnath & Bodhgaya
While visiting Varanasi, do visit Sarnath. It's about 8 kms away from Varanasi. Sarnath is the famous place where Buddha spread his teachings among his five main disciples. If time permits, visit Buddhagaya. It's about 8 kms from Gaya rail stn. In Buddhagaya Buddha did his Sadhana to become BUDDHA.
