A lot has happened in the 2 1/2 years since the last "current" blog in Malyasia and Singapore. The bad news is that travel has been secondary except for a few berief sojourns in the UK - the good news is that there are still two to travel! The blogging recommences with a Charles Rennie Mckintosh view of the Glasgow world. The photos are based on a brief tour of the main sights as featured on the website www.crmsociety.com
A ticket gets you in to all attractions from the nominated list on your self guided tour of the city and it’s environs and you can link it in to other free museums such as the Kelvingrove Museum in the West End. The logical starting point is the Glasgow School of Art through to the recreation of the House for the Art Lover from the original Mckintosh plans
The Hill House at Helensburgh can be a day out from the city up the Clyde estuary.

Hill House
I spent my young years in Helensburgh, with lots of love for Hermitage Park and Hill House. I am now living in the South West of England. I hope to visit once again, in my retirement, and see inside the glorious house.
