Today we went to the Temple of Heaven - a huge park with temple buildings dotted around. The temples were impressive, especially the Temple of Good Harvest, but it was much more of a tourist destination, rather than an active temple, like the Lama one. There was a parade, or a dance, of which Mark again risked life and limb to get photos of. And when we'd finished with the temples, we explored the park for a bit. There was some soft Chinese music playing, and everything felt very peaceful and serene, so we just sat around for a while. It was warmer today, and at one point I even - now brace yourselves for this - removed my hat, gloves and coat!

Again, having to keep this brief because the main computer continues to be broken! Will see if I've got time to upload piccies!

Great pics again
Hi! I'm really impressed with the photos (well done Mark!) and with how well you're keeping the blog - I'm going to write up my trip once I get back. I hope you're having a great time - it certainly looks it. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of Japan.
