Leaving the snow..........

Leaving the white stuff behind and heading for the sun and surf of our little Baja village, Los Barriles! We are really looking forward to this winter---no major jobs to do, just rest and relaxation. I can already see myself walking the beach, kayaking and just doing NADA! Our departure was a little later than we had anticipated, but better late than never. The kitties are safely stationed with Meghan and Matt so I know that they are in GREAT hands and safer there than in Mexico. It was hard to leave the kids and the kitties but the winter will fly like it always does. Then back to the wedding details. Meghan has things very organized and under control and my assigned jobs have been completed but there is more to do when I get back!

I hope some of you can come down and experience this little paradise that we call home in the winter. A lot of folks think we are nuts, I know but it is too hard to explain. There are some minor inconveniences but you soon appreciate the good life we have in the U.S. too.

Stay tuned......I am sure that there will be some good stories even though the adventures will be less exciting since we are flying but I am certain that we will encounter some interesting things in any case! It can only be..................Mexico! We will be in touch!

difficult choice
h'mmmm hard to choose but after hours of debate reckon the yellow stuff better then the white !!!! Glad to hear you've hit the skies and on the way if not already there. We're in Jamul CA getting ready to make our trip south too. Expect to leave 23rd travelling with 2 other rigs (one couple we were parked next too in Bay of LA).
