We'll be on the road any day now. Just need to fill the gas tank ... lol!
It's been a real chore just to get away but finally the day approaches. After celebrating Christmas with daughter and son-in-law, Rachael and Marc, and grand-daughter, Angelina, we returned home to collect the last of our travel paraphernalia. Completing the paperwork and details from the basement flood which occurred in January 2008, also took some of our last minute time. Leaving the final details and settlements in the capable hands of our lawyer, Nathanael and Diana will be hitting the road very soon, whenever the weather forecast cooperates for a few consecutive days.

Packing the camper with perishables and toilettries will be the final task. Have you ever noticed that the things you want to take are just the things you can't find? Oh well, it's not like we're going to the outer reaches of the galaxy. We can always stop at a mall and pick up what we need. Time to stop worrying about forgetting something and be on our way.

Our little motor home fits the bill for the two of us, .... a home-away-from-home for the months we will be on the road. The snow and freezing rain, as well as the frigid temperatures, will be

distant memories. Nathanael plans to "swim every day." We look forward to sunny skies and balmy temperatures.
