Melbourne, Australia - December 10th - Midnight

Today was a fairly busy day. I got up and ready to head off on a tour. The tour was Champagne breakfast on a tramcar. I had to wait a bit for Lee to dispatch some tours, when I first walked into the theatre. Lee was on stage talking to this Chinese man. Shortly after I got in stage, he comes on the mic and says “Well ladies and gentlemen, apparently us humans haven’t figured out whether it’s a 6 or a 9. Celebrity has come up with this trick; they put an ‘x’ on the bottom on the number to signify whether it is a 6 or 9.” It was hilarious, Lee eventually had to remove the sticker from the man and put it on the right way, he was totally clueless.

We got on the bus and started our tour. Our tour guide was definitely a talker but very informative. We went to many of the major sites in Melbourne like the Grand Prix track. I wasn’t paying much attention to her talking I was more fascinated by the fact that I was eating breakfast on a tramcar. It was decorated in old fashion attire, Very classic look and feel to it. When we first got on board our waiter said that it was all you could drink champagne, so sure enough there is always on person that challenges and takes advantage of that. He basically downed his first glass and as the waiter was busy serving the rest of his he pipes up and says to his wife, well my glass has been empty for a while now. I just couldn’t believe it. I thought people went on vacation to relax and not get anal about every little thing. We got off the tram and went to the observatory deck in a tower that was 55 floors tall. We had a great view on Melbourne from there. The tour continued on to see some more places in Melbourne but Lee and I decided to walk up to Collins street and walk around there, considering that it is Melbourne major street. We slowly made our way back to the port after getting on the local transit. We found a grocery store where we got a few munchies for our cabin. We got back on board and had a little nap as we were going to have a late night tonight. We are heading up to the Olympic for our 1 year anniversary.

Lee headed off to work and I slowly got ready. We made our reservation on time at 8:45. Once again dinner was amazing, it was nice to be back in there was some of the waiters were from my contract and remembered me. We joked around and had a lot of fun. We started out with the famous Tomato and Red Pepper soup with fresh mozzarella, Caesar salad, chilled asparagus, fillet mignon with a peppercorn sauce, I had the chocolate soufflé for dessert and Lee had the Orange Chocolate Mouse. There was a cheese section in there as well where I tried blue cheese but it was repulsive. I still don’t know how you eat

that stuff Dad! It basically melted on the plate because it was so soft and it really did smell like stinky socks. We had a fantastic bottle of wine and finished dessert off with a glass of port that Flavio had purchased for us.

I came back to the cabin to read for a bit and Lee went to win me some money at poker. Good Luck Lee!
