3rd day in and we're still having a ball!! caught up on our jet lag so were in Thai time - 7 hours ahead for all you suckers at home in the rain!! Still finding our way around, met some really nice people - an english couple last night ( in late 60's) told us about this fabulous restuarant in Bangkok called Cabbages & Condoms! defo going to see that on our way back! Spent loads of time in our boat shaped pool - especially today as it was really hot - its too deep for Shell and she insiste the "current " (in a pool??) is dragging her out to the middle so she's a little bit scared in it!
Funniest thing happened today, We were arseing aroung in the pool as you do and she went to dive in not realising that her bikini bottoms were a bit on the loose side and they came down around her ankles, all you could here all around the quiet resort was "MY KNICKERS FELL DOWN"
Alen think he's very funny posting that but what I thought was the funniest moment of the holiday so far was when some Fat Thai man tried to sell us a watch at the side of the street so Alen tried to bargain and in the end your man agreed with his really low price and Alen said "ah no not today mate" and then he nearly got a calculator to the back of the head - priceless!! we were shitting it so we wont be going back to him!!!!
went to a seafood restuarant last night and ordered mussells to start - they were HUGE!! They were about the size of a large egg & there was five on the plate, Frank you would have loved it!!
going to an Irish bar now ( typical of us paddys!) have loads photos but will upload soon - need to find out how to do it with this hotel computer.
