Danielle came to visit us in Alicante for 3 fantastic days and she was our first guest in our new apartment!
Danielle is currently living in London and recently went on a holiday to Poland so was exciting to hear about that! We spent a lot of time in the sun, a little too much for Danielle (and her poor red tummy). We hung at our local beach, people watched and enjoyed the shopping coming to us (see photo). One day we drove to some waterfalls an hour from our apartment. They were freezing, but absolutely refreshing. I loved getting out feeling clean and not salty or smelling like chlorine.
On Danielle’s last day we caught the local bus (coach style) into Alicante city. We did lots of walking and got a bit lost a few times as I am not very familiar with the city. However it is always an experience and we were lucky enough to find some friendly people who could help us with directions and which busses to take so we could hit the cool shopping centre. I think my Spanish is also getting better since the people we spoke to didn’t speak English.
Danielle took us out on her last night! We walked to the main street in Arenales del Sol and went to two restaurants. At the first one we had sangria and tapas and at the second one, paella, eating in true Spanish style and time, our main meal came at about 11pm!

Marissa how amazing is that waterfull!!! although not as good as the fuji 5 lakes but at least you could swim in it!!! any interesting lollypops...? haha sooo good that dani and amira were there!! looks like all you guys did was swim!!! and when did mario become black...? haha tell him to stop watering those bonsai so much!! Hope you all amazing!!! Love to you both!
