Today we bussed it over to Pearl Harbour, but missed out on getting a ticket for a tour (we were too busy eating our turkey sandwiches). We did at least however see the place and take photos of a few ships. We also saw the heart of Honolulu city on the way which I liken to Brisbane, sort of spread out, and nicely kept.

After bussing back from Pearl Harbour we had another go at Diamond Head now that we knew exactly where we had to go. We bumped into a Kiwi guy and his Canadian wife who were also doing the same thing and walked up with them.

The climb was pretty steep, including a walk through a tunnel that was once pitch black but now has lighting. The view up the top of waikiki and the surrounding mountains was worth busting a sweat to get up there however.

After coming back down the moutain we were offered a limo ride back to our hostel for $2 each which we decided to take, being smart kiwi's, we actually bargined him down from $3, well hey - we had a free bus ride back afterall.

Sunita wasn't able to climb up with us unfortunately, and when we got back we found a couple of random hostel guys chatting her up. After getting "the look" from her, Shannon and I did the honours and saved her - like nights in shining armour.

So far, I had not gone for a single swim which was pretty crazy, considering the beach was so close and it was so hot - that is what happens when you are so busy. I decided a swim after dinner would be good, so went for a swim just after the Sun had gone down. The water was still luke warm - awesome.

Just for the record...
I didn't need to be saved. The guys were actually pretty amusing.
