It's been quite some time since I've last written. It has been really busy here lately and quite a bit has been happening here. I'll try and give a brief recap here.

To start with, we went to Saturnia in Toscana a few weeks ago. Our friend Dario drove Heather, Christina, Debbie and myself to the hot springs there. It was probably about 65 degrees or so outside (we were wearing long pants and sweatshirts) but the water was so nice and warm. The sulfur was nice and relaxing and made our skin very nice, but it really smelled like rotten eggs. It was really a great experience and even after a VERY long night of partying, I was really glad we decided to go.

Jen has since moved back to Rome. It's been really great having her back and we're all having a great time. There have been plenty of visitors in our new apartment, and it's been really nice and welcoming to live here...especially with lots of extra space. Now, if we could just get the hot water to work...

I've been spending a bit more time with some of the people from work, and they're

all great. We all have a lot of fun together. And the new group of students that started in September are all really great. It's nice seeing these people all the time.

Of course we haven't forgotten about Coyote. We're still there on a regular basis and have added some new members to our list of "regulars". Maurizio and Daniel have also been going there with us, along with Davide, of course.

We attempted to go to Euroma2 (Centro Commerciale) which is the shopping mall near us. Yes, near us. It should have taken us 15 minutes to get there by bus. But somehow we got lost. Christina, Heather and I couldn't find the stop to the shuttle bus, so we took a normal bus. We missed the stop, and the next thing we know, we were halfway to Ostia on the side of road with nothing around us but crazy Roman drivers and woods. We waited there for a while for a bus to go back in the other direction. After getting on the bus, walking across a 6 lane highway (ok, there was a traffic light thankfully) and then climbing down a hill, we safely made

it to the mall. Our first stop...McDonald's. We need to decompress and reflect on the last 1.5 hours and how we somehow took that long to arrive at our destination. So, we were thinking we'd know exactly what to do to get home easily. Yes, it would have been easy except we missed the shuttle bus stop we needed to take. There was no way to signal the driver that we wanted to get off, so they kept driving. Again, it took us much longer to get home that day. The theme to the day, "On the Road to Nowhere."

The man that owns the pizza place across the street now knows all of us. He's so excited to see us, since it seems at least one of us goes there at least 5 days a week.

I'm pretty sure my Italian is getting worse, if that was at all possible.

I'm going to start taking a poll on which Italian man all the girls think is the hottest. So far, Stefano has a commanding lead, so ladies, get those votes in.

Last night we went to Coca-Cola Live at Piazza San Giovanni. John Legend and

The Cure performed. It was really an awesome show. I have to admit that I was quite shocked at just how great John Legend was in person. The only down side was getting pushed everywhere and having creepy Italians standing on top of us the whole time. They really don't understand the concept of personal space in this county. I don't know what the problem is. But they're really afraid to be alone I think, and they all need to be very close to someone at all times. There could be plenty of open seats on the bus or metro, but they'll come and sit right next to you. Definitely weird.

Well, it's another end to another week here in Bella Roma. I hope you're all doing well. I'll talk to you soon.

thanks for the post
Looks like a great time. However, personal foul on the photographer at the springs. MUST wait for background safety before taking the shot. Haha!
