Hi Friends and Family,

We decided to create this blog in order to keep all of you up to date on our travels over the next few months. If you want to receive an email whenever we update the blog just click on the subscribe button above and we'll also post the link on our facebook pages if you just want to check from time to time. Feel free to read as much or as little as you want, no pressure. There will only be a short quiz when we get back...

As of now we are finishing up packing and getting everything in order for Monday when we fly to Quito. Here is a rough itinerary of what our trip will look like from there:

9/15 - Fly to Quito (capital of Ecuador...)

9/18 - Take a bus to the farm in Loja, southern Ecuador, where we will be working as volunteers for approximately seven weeks.

11/7 - Cross border into Tumbes, Peru

11/7 - 11/22 - Travel down the Peruvian coast through Chiclayo, Lima, Pisco, Nazca etc. to Cuzco

11/25 - see Machu Piccu!!!!!

11/28 - Hang out in Arequipa

12/1 - Cross border into Arica, Chile

12/4 - 12/10 - explore Mendoza (Wine region of Argentina)

12/10 - Fly to Buenos Aires

12/31 - Fly home

We'll probably update this blog once every week or so, though probably less frequently while we are on the farm. Please feel free to email us and keep us up to date on your lives while we are away. Hope that everyone's fall is going well... here we go Cassel!
