Going to see blue man group in Tokyo was an excellent idea. It was funny, it was colourful and best of all they don't speak so language wasn't an issue like it would've been if we'd decided to go see Wicked! or something else. We got the tickets back in May so we were smack bang front and centre in the "raincoat" section, the part where they provide you with lots of plastic sheeting so you don't get any paint on your clothes. After the show there were massive crowds gathered around one of the Blue men in the lobby trying to get photos of him, it was a slightly mad scene, like the beginnings of a riot so Yumiko, Sanae and I decided to bypass the photo opportunity and just go home instead. We were fiddling around with our umbrellas when Yumiko ran smack bang into someones back
"Sumimasen!" she apologized breathlessly before gasping and staring at the man in shock. She'd run into a blue man himself, still decked out in paint and sneaking around outside, apparently avoiding the commotion, but I think more realistically just trying to cause a commotion of his own. the blue man stared down at Yumiko unnervingly an then gently raised her hand to his lips. He kissed her quickly and then turned abruptly away leaving her starstruck and in awe with a blue pair of lips outlined on the back of her hand.

Blue man
Blue man was totally a gentleman to Yumi chan. He silently and gently kissed her hand like every British gentlemen did like 100 years ago. hmm so cool!

OK for kids
Thanks for the review. I'm planning to take my son to the Blue Man Group in Tokyo in December. Is the show suitable for kids? (I assumed it is, but I was told to check)

Blue man group is definately OK for kids, they should love it, there's a lot of music and throwing paint around, probably best to get the seats a few rows back from the front though so they don't have to wear the plastic coat! have a great time in Tokyo!! Leah
