Okay, haven't updated in a few days so I will tell you all what's been going on.

I took a train from Delhi to Agra (3 hours) saw the Taj Mahal then waited in the train station for 5 and a half hours... late train... got back to Delhi... waited 4 hours in the train station, then got on my 26 hour train to Mumbai. That was a long couple days...

And then I arrived to Mumbai with a mission, I had heard about studios always looking for extras for Bollywood movies, and as soon as I stepped out of the taxi a man asked me if I wanted to be in a movie so I said yes, of course. That night I saw a Bollywood movie to prepare me for what was to come.

The next day we (many other tourists and I) went to the studio and did some scenes, from what I could tell it was the corniest movie ever, but that is Bollywood for you. It was a very long day and we weren't treated particularly well, so towards the end when one of the casting people came up to me asking if I wanted to be in a commercial the next day with a few speaking parts I said no. Not only did I not want another day on the set but I didn't really want to make an ass of myself on Indian TV.

And yesterday I went for a walk around the city with a couple people I had met on the movie set, we saw some great British built buildings, then went to another Bollywood movie (Singh is Kinng Britt!) which was pretty funny and again, very corny.

After that we were on our way back to the hotel when an older Indian man stopped us and started talking, he was a retired University professor and asked the 3 of us if we wanted to grab a beer, we thought it may make for some interesting conversation, so we decided to go. He assured us that he knew a good bar so we followed, we got to this place, no windows... went upstairs where there were some couches... and many Indian women sitting around. We all looked at eachother thinking this was a bit strange but had our beers anyways. The man we went to the place with ended up being very, very, very crazy and he did a lot of yelling at the waiters and a lot of strange behavior. He later told us the place we were in was a brothel, I would have normally been very nervous, but due to the people I was with (read about that later) I felt okay. So we downed our beers and got the hell out of there!

And now today, my birthday I will hang out with the 2 people from yesterday, one of them happens to be a 6 foot 6, 250 pound kickboxing champion from Australia, so we're going to find a gym and he'll show us a couple moves!

Happy Birthday!
Hope you have/had a great 20th, Andrew. Remember, this is the day that people should be giving baksheesh to you. Travel on, and I will look forward to hearing some stories on your return (we will pull a few hundred people into a small space, just so you feel comfortable).
