Quelle ville etourdissante!
I'M STILL ALIVE!
I came to Australia to find a job and make a little bit of money, and have had no internet access since the end of October...
To make a very long story short, I'm back on the road now, hoping I'll be able to catch up on all the news... Hopefully, I'll be able to update the blog a little more so that you can start following me again!
Texts might be shorter, makes me sad but shorter is better than nothing at all...
There was so much more to Japan, so much love, so many great friends...
I wish you a Happy New Year, filled with love and discoveries, on the outside, around the world, but don't forget those who start to grow inside of you...
Hope you'll keep following me! Em xxxx
My Japanese journey just ended... and my heart is sad!
On my way to Osaka Airport, I cried and laughed at the same time, making a rainbow of my face, remembering so many stories, and so many little details that made the country unique in my eyes.
It all started in Tokyo. What a huge city! You just never see the end of it! And believe me, we walked around quite a bit to discover all the districts! Ecclectic!
After our escapade in Okinawa, Debbie and I went to Kyoto. And this is where my vocabulary is not enough, anymore. Words are missing, or fading. What a rich place! I truly think you can never see the end of it. Centuries of history to discover in the old capital city, it's impossible to see it, and mostly feel it all in only one
visit.
With Debbie going back to work in Tokyo, I went the other way to meet my friend Gabrielle, loyal colleague at the ice cream shop 'La Cremiere' in Lachute more than a decade ago! Her husband Omid and her welcomed me 'home'. And introduced me to a brand new healthy world. Not only that I cleansed my body, I also quit smoking! An accomplishment I'm really proud of!
Even with a 'stability' and a 'everyday routine', my life was filled with my desire to discover more magical places... Kurashiki, such a charming town; Hiroshima and the smell of its tragedy, where I prayed and hoped for a peaceful world; I walked in the streets of Fukuoka, which I still remember as a maze... I obviously discovered Himeji and its stunning castle... One of my greatest highlights!
All of those places are magical, but I felt the Divine presence most particularly in MiyaJima... I can't explain how much I felt I was not alone...
The past 3 months were a gift, where I had a home, my bed, a family.
Now I'm back in the unknown. Scary and exciting at the same time!
I'm blessed, in
life. I keep repeating it. And I believe it even deeper now.
Japan was a spiritual experience on all levels.
Continuing my transformation...
