We had low fat cooked breakfast (not) a merry beach style eggs, bacon, mushroom, toast and after cleaning up headed into Darwin for sight seeing. We took the dogs for a long walk at the foreshores of Fannie Bay. The ocean is so beautiful a real clear blue.

Drove into the city and parking costs 80c/hr by parking meter. Had a look around some of the shops, the dogs we were so well behaved but they also had on their gentle walkers leads and kept them on a short lead. Many people approached Marg when Warwick went to get a new Telstra phone and said how well behaved they were. The idea behind the new phone is more options for better coverage for phone as optus is a little sad.

We had lunch in the park by the harbour on the Esperance. Yes of course we shared lunch with the dogs. We arrived backed at the van mid afternoon to catch up on things and cool down with the air con. Later in the afternoon took the dogs up the road for a good free run with no leads.

Just on dark we went into town to the Mindil Beach sunset markets without the dogs, they stayed in the van with air con and tv on. As for Marg and myself we knew that they were good , so far we haven’t been asked to leave. You can tell Darwin is close to Bali as a lot of the items for sale at the markets was Bali influenced. We eat our way around the markets with the different culture foods available for us to sample. Had huge oysters Kilpatrick about ½ the size of your hands and cost only $9, and finished it off with fruit salad.

When we got back to the van the two very excited dogs that had missed us, the licking and jumping up was a dead give away.
