Santorini - Oia

We had been told if you want a sunset go to the northern town of Oia to see it so that’s what we did. It was another lovely cliff side town cut into the side. We lucked upon a restaurant just before it filled with other sunset onlookers, and we ate and watched the sun go down. Once it had we walked around the old town, into the square where we went into the church, it was Sunday after all. Asha and Mummy lit a candle, Onita wishing for good health, Asha wishing to become like a real Simba or Nala.

Meeting in October
Hi guys, lovely pics of Santorini - looks like you made a good choice to go there! Just called Lynne to confirm that we'll be seeing you all on October 4 and 5 for Lynne's 70th birthday do. Looks like we will be coming with the car from Hook of Holland to Harwich on Thursday night, then leaving early Monday morning. Hope the fact that we'll be in the car (7-seater) will help with the logistics. Will also be informing Jon tomorrow via e-mail so we can work things out. All the best, have a great time in Paleo, give my love to Van and Fifi whatever happens !!!!!

Santorini sunset
We had 10 minutes on Santorini, including the sunset, last Wednesday thanks to BBC2 - 'Francesco's Mediterranean Voyage' - excellent! Not quite the same as being there yourself, we guess. Our love to you all

Rogers 51st and he's very chuffed as he played golf with Graham and won - watch out Karl he's improving. Plan today was to celebrate the birthday and launch of the new 'outdoor entertainment area' - bet you cant wait - but its goig to rain later so we might go and see Kung Fu Panda instead. Love the photos Santorini looks fab and so does Onita. xxxx

just back from wales and the longest period without tinternet for years ! cold turkey or what ?...how sad :) Fantastic to read you're still having a belter of a trip, although it doesn't look as though you've been too prolific on the old blog-front....?!
