Well - the only give away to anybody we meet is the very short hair appearing and how skinny I still am, but other than that who would know I had this disease at all. I feel so un believably fit, sometimes appearing fitter than the rest of the family as I make them go on walks up and down the Umbrian country side. Is it the sunshine, the careful planning of my drug regime or just sheer enthusiasm for life, who knows but it works, and I feel as fit, actually no, fitter and healthier than last summer. Long may this remission last, the oncologist talked about this summer being my window of opportunity, and he was right!, remind me of this summer next time I am feeling low with Chemo.

Hi Guys, We are living so vicariously through your blog. Sheer pleasure and joy at the time you are having together and total envy at Italy...how far away it seems from Africa now. Life should be all about enjoying it moment by moment and it seems to me that your "window of opportunity" is making sure you do just that! Keep going and sending us fantastic mental moments. Thanks and much love, Corrina.
