So we finally arrived in Kenya, then made our way to Arusha, Tanzania, after 2 full days of traveling. We went to sleep yesterday afternoon at around 4:00pm and didn't wake until 4:00am. The bus ride was wild. Lotsa bumps, and the terrain was exactly what we imagined it to be, sandy and barren. We passed a number of Masai people on the highway, herding their goats and cattle. They are really amazing, so colorful and decorated. At 120 km/hr, it was hard to get photos but we tried and hopefully we can download the photo's.
We're trying to arrange a safari for tomorrow. It's proving to be a bit difficult to dodge the street sellers. I'm having flashbacks from Indonesia. Our next entry will likely be after the safari at which point we hope to have pictures of lions and elephants!
