After a long silence, I decided to write a new blog, just to let you all know that I'm still alive 😉 I have worked hard on my Master's thesis over the past weeks, and the first draft is now finished! I'm just waiting now for the comments of my second supervisor (my first supervisor already approved it), and then I'll be done! 😊 Which also means that I'll have more time to do other stuff around here, because I haven't done much the past couple of weeks (hence the lack of blogs, I didn't really have anything to say).
To celebrate my freedom the sun came out in Dunedin this week, which was a very pleasant surprise after weeks of cold and rain. I went for a walk in the botanical gardens (which is more like a forest on a hill) a couple of days ago, and it was so gorgeous there that I decided to go back today and take my camera. I took some pictures of Dunedin in fall, which is really beautiful (that is, if it is sunny). I am also planning to go on one last horseriding trip, a full day trek this time, to
say goodbye to this beautiful country... because I am leaving in less than a month already! I planned a goodbye party on the 21st of June, and I'm flying out on the 24th. Really strange idea...
I am already looking forward to my next 'adventure': doing a PhD at the University of York in England! It's finalized now, I am going to York mid-July to meet my professors, and I am starting in October with my PhD research on memory errors in legal settings. So I'll have to start practising my British accent... 😉
