I LOVE VEGAS!
I wish i could take it home with me.. The main reason why you guys haven't heard much from me is because there is so many better things to be doing that a blog entry, there are rollercoasters everywhere and whatever you want, whenever you want it! I have been gambling all day and it's GREAT, free beer, and i started with $3 and now i have $90, so gonna go see if i can lose my winnings, either that or make a million!
The people here are GREAT, every rumour i have heard about the states just ain't true. And i must admit (even tho i dont want to) i'm actually starting to like country music. Shit this place must be affecting me something serious!
I had a bit of a wander around last night and have taken a few photos of the place, it's like i'm in the middle of a movie and i have to keep pinching myself every now and then to remind myself that this is actually real! Yesterday i went Go-Karting at a place owned by Kurt Busch (Nascar champ and multi-millionaire) and had a ball, the course is
indoors and the karts are a little slower than what i'm used to, but even so, i joined in a League race, first race came 3rd and in the 2nd race came 4th. After 2 races my standings overall against everyone to ever race the track was 2,378 out of 33,856.
I so wish you all could be here to see it, there's something for everyone! I also went to the stratosphere yesterday to take on the 'Big Shot' i thought it would have been pretty easy, like all that happens is you get launched up a big stick at 4G, easy right? HELL NO!! I was the only one on it (i will have to see if i can get a pic) and the guy was chatting with me about where i'm from and all the rest, i took it easy and kinda hid the fact that i thought i might actually shit myself on this ride, he was pretty nice and said okay, i'm going to launch you on 5...... 1.... 2.... 3.... BANG! Then the whole way up, and back down i was telling him how much i appreciated the surprise and when i got off
it i had to have a bit of a teary, it was that FULL on and for 3 times, i was the highest point in Vegas!!!
Last night as i said, i took some photos and all the rest, then went out with my 'bros' Michael and James, they're the best company ever, they have come up for the weekend from Atlanta.... I'll try get some photos of us all tonight, but it's a bit of a challenge because you usually end up drenched after a night out at Coyote Ugly.
And that is another story in itself! For those of you have seen the movie, you'd know what happens when you ask for water, well i forgot, until i got the hose.... then instead of water the bartender poured me a shot. Minus the shot glass, and minus the measurement. They deliver shots by saying turn around, head back, then they put a towel under your chin and just pour until they are happy you're gonna have a good time, the ol $5 jaeger shots sure did the job, especially when the bartender figured out i was from Australia, from there, i think she was trying to
make sure i couldnt leave vegas via not being able to walk 😊
Again, I WISH YOU WERE HERE!!!! On the 10 things to do before you die, this would have to be in the top 3! I'll be back, i have actually even considering moving here in another 5-10 years, the economy here is mental, Mike parks cars for a living and makes over $90,000 per year, most of it being on tips.... It's amazing, unskilled workers can earn up to $100,000 p.a.
Anyways, i'm done, going to go float in the pool, and live it up again tonight, i dont want to leave, EVER...
