The first part of the day was a truck ride from Michigan to Gary, Indiana (insert song here). Work phone calls… good chats. Julia was with us last night, so we said goodbye to her before hitting the road.

Stopped for lunch and met up with the girls, where we switched out and I jumped in the car. And I slept. And slept. For a good hour I was out like a light! (And all of Illinois.) Kyle called me with a work question, and, man, I was not functioning well. Not very good at making full sentences at that point, words were not coming in the right order, and everyone got a kick out of it. Sarah and Beth started asking me questions about the phone call, and I couldn’t communicate anything with them. “I’m not cohesive yet!” Yes, I definitely meant coherent. In Sarah’s words, “This is a great game! Go back to sleep so I can wake you up and we can play again.” Unfortunately, I stayed incohesive for the remainder of the evening.

The usual evening routine… dinner, vegging out. We’re in a small town called Whitewater, which is sort of a combination between Cheney and Pullman. Pulleney. Back to the hotel, getting things sorted for the week. We are now in the final days of tour, and can even count the number of hotels left on one hand! Oh joy! I did something I rarely do, in that I flipped on the TV. I’m even catching part of the John Adams series I’ve heard so much about. Usually it’s over or in the middle when we come in, so it’s been nice watching some. Although, it is number 6. Sarah and Kyle have been wandering in and out of my room. I’m hoping to get to sleep soon so I can be sticky tomorrow. Or held together? Stuck together? In one piece?
