The itinerary...

Some of you have requested our itinerary before we start blogging so you can follow and anticipate our progress.

As many of you know our three month adventure is based around the new seven wonders of the world (See 7Wonders ---actually the wonders we thought should have been the seven wonders so many were finalists See all finalists at: Finalists

Our first trip travelling together in 2006 was to the the Great Wall of China, our second trip included Stonehenge in England, and then in July 2007 we got engaged on top of Angkor Wat in Cambodia. Those trips are what gave us the idea for this honeymoon.

Of the "New" Seven Wonders and the finalists we will see the following on this trip in this order: (1). Machu Picchu, Peru, (2) Easter Island, Chile, (3)Sydney Opera House, Australia, (4) Taj Mahal, India, (5) Pyramids of Giza, Egypt, (6) Petra, Jordan, (7) The Hagia Sophia, Tukey, and (8) The Acropolis of Athens

We will also be stopping in Tahiti (Bora Bora), Ayers Rock and Peth Australia, Dubai, Seychelle Islands, Kenya, and Tanzania along the way on this trip.

I hope this explains the trip and we will be posting pictures of Machu Picchu very soon.

Wow...
O.K., I knew this was going to be a fantastic honeymoon, but all of the seven wonders in one trip? That is just too cool. All the rest of us at home are green with envy, not just because it's St. Patrick's Day, but because we have to doused in wet weather while our good friends Larry and Jessica are off soaking up the sun somewhere. Be safe, and we'll all look for pictures when you get some time to "upload them". --TIM

Hey guys! That is quite a trip you're on, but what about Crater Lake? Isn't that one of the seven wonders? Let me know and I'll plan a trip for you and maybe even take you there myself!...... It's a journey, but I think you can handle it..... Take care, Troy

Easter Island on Easter
Testing, testing. I guess if Tim can do a comment then I should be able to figure it out too, right? It occurs to me, Larry, that you really messed up by not scheduling to be on Easter Island on Easter! Now that would have been cool. Seriously, this blog thing is great, so thanks to you both for putting it together. We want photos! We'll all continue to live vicariously through you two world travelers, so thanks for taking us along, kind of. Take care. Love, Dad/Rod
