Our drive down the coast proved to be more gorgeous views of the South Pacific with stops along the way to see the lazy seals sunning on the rocks. We made it to the little town of Kaikoura which sits on the rocky shoreline. Spending the night at an Irish Inn just 1 day before St. Patrick’s Day seemed a bit ironic, but the Donegal House provided a good nights rest.

For Sunday morning we decided to try a beautiful little Presbyterian Church called St. Paul’s for worship. It really gave us another taste of NZ life. The small congregation of 20 invited us for lunch afterwards to celebrate the birthday of one of its members.

Kaikoura is a unique little coastal town filled with tourist and backpackers from all over the world. Here we sit at the local internet bar called Global Gossip amongst all the other travelers sending out their messages to family and friends. One more day left on our NZ tour then its back to Shunde via Hong Kong with our trip becoming another memory in a lifetime of adventures.
