We just wanted to give everyone a quick note about our last few days and this will probably be our last post until we are back in the States 😞

We flew out of Ushuaia to Buenos Aires on the 2nd. The flight was fine but we didnt get into the city until 1:30am. We were very lucky to find a great, cheap hostel in the neighborhood we wanted to be in. We stayed in the area that is well know for its tango shows and antique shops. Very nice place to stay.

Plus the hostel came with cable tv where we got to watch the Super Bowl! Very Exciting, even though the game wasn´t until the very end. Plus, there were 2 street performers staying at the hostel who did magic tricks for us! Gotta love the free entertainment!

On our first day we went to a couple markets to do some last minute shopping. Now that we are at the end our trip we can justify carrying things around. The market in our neighborhood had some crafts but was mostly antiques. We read about another market in another neighborhood that was supposed to have a big craft market. After doing some more shopping we found a brewpub where we were able to get a pitcher of IPA (the first we have seen down here) and a pizza. After that we took a walk through the park and found a reggae bad that was having a free concert, so naturally we had to stop there for a while and watch. It was a beautiful sunny day, great for laying in the park and watching live music!

The next day we went over the La Boca which is know for more Tango and the bright colored buildings. We walked around for a bit and took in all the tourist attractions. We found a great little restaurant that was advertising tamales (it is soooooo hard to find Mexican food here!) and there was a tango show across tht street so we stopped there for a bit. We spent the rest of the afternoon in the huge shopping district downtown. The streets were lined with American styled shopping malls, tons of leather and fur shops, and just about anything you would need to fit into "high society". It did a little bit of shopping and then headed back to
"Look I burried myself in the sand""Look I burried myself in the sand""Look I burried myself in the sand"

. .. . . "and I had a bunch of wine coolers!"
the hostel.

That night (our last night in Argentina) we went down to the park next our hotel where we had dinner and watched another live tango show. The food was great, the drinks were great and show was really good! We even got talked into talking pictures with the dancers 😊 Right when we were about to leave a guy walked by selling earrings. There are people selling things everywhere so it wasnt anthing new, but this guy was really funny, and had some pretty nice things so I had to buy something from him, and of course I had to get a picture with him.

The next day we killed some time buying some last minute things and finding icecream before we headed out on our 24 hour (no it was not fun!) bus ride to Pichilemu, Chile.

This town is everything you would expect from a surf town. It is small, full of food stands with burgers and fried chicken, the surft is awesome, the black sand beaches are great. . . . . definately a great end to the super vacation.

On Monday we will take a bus to Santiago, stay for 2 nights, 1 day before we get on the plane back to Florida.

We have a few pics from Buenos Aires and the beach but we cant get any of these computers to recognize the camera. . . .. it may have to wait until we get home.

Less than a week left. . . .. it will definatly be bitter sweet to head home to the rain.

What a way to go out. Sounds fun and warm. We've been shovelling snow nearly every day and ready for a change. Matt your color looks a little "lobsteresk"! Hope its not as bad as the photo appears.
