Brilliant breakfast!Brilliant breakfast!Brilliant breakfast!

Passionfruits and mangoes :p
I forgot to mention we have been eating mangoes for breakfast nearly every morning! The yummy watermelons are huge and are as heavy as a baby. Oh and the passionfruits are seriously good here. Breakfast counldn't get any better 😉

But to the title of this blog; we have been in Brisbane for 2 days now. We went to the art galleries to see Indigenous (Aboriginal) Art for Kiama's art project. We saw some beautiful canvasses, baskets, headdresses and pottery. The traditional colours they use in their art are black, white, ochre and crimson. Today the four of us joined a workshop where we could create our own Aussie art 😊 Catherina and Kiama painted on canvasses, while John (dad) and Ilana painted on boomerangs. It was really fun being creative together and discovering these artistic techniques. Afterwards we had a good laugh trying to learn how to play the didgeridoo ^^
This place is well worth a visit, let alone attending the workshops! We say it's a must do in Brisbane!! It was very popular 😊 Check out www.indigenousgallery.com.au for more info.

My sharing about Aboriginal Art is: Aboriginal art shows the oldest living art tradition in the world, with paintings in rock shelters dating back over 20,000 years. The art includes naturalistic paintings of human, plant and animals. All the paintings are demonstrating the experimental representations of their heritage. And that art also illuminates the human civilization. Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!!
