Green River To Laramie

Near Medicine Bow Peak SummitNear Medicine Bow Peak SummitNear Medicine Bow Peak Summit

Still plenty of snow around and it's June.
We head east on Interstate 80, exit 235 onto WY130 to Saratoga, then follow WY130 to Wyoming Centennial National Scenic Byway, passing through Saratoga, Ryan Park and Centennial to Laramie.

There are several hiking trails around the Byway, including a trail up to Medicine Bow Peak, at 12,013 feet it is the highest point in the Medicine Bow Forest and it’s adjacent to the Byway. A trip along the Snowy Range Scenic Byway is a must if you visit south east Wyoming!

It’s a glorious day, with glorious views and hardly a soul in sight.

We were disappointed with Laramie. Admittedly it was a Sunday so the town was dead, much like some westerns. Our motel, a new Days Inn was conveniently near I80 but quiet and clean and there was a good enough eating place just up the road.

Panorama
Thanks Ali, it's much appreciated. I've got quite a number of panoramas in this entry but I haven't completed the task yet.
