Falling In Love With San Juan . . .

Sunday is our Debarkation/Embarkation day, so we’re in our home port of San Juan. Ashley signed off today so I’m officially running Club O2 now. Today (and most of this week) is busy for me just getting things organized and ready for my program. I’m also doing some extra work with the “Super Shopper” (Destination Shopping Specialist) for some extra money. So I didn’t have a lot of free time today, but I still got off the ship for a couple hours.

And I love San Juan!

I did some practical taking care of myself stuff, looking in and out of shops to see what I’m able to pick up when I’ll need it. I was thrilled to discover a grocery store where I got some soy milk and lactose free cheese! Yay for expanding my diet and getting more essential nutrients! And while I’ve never been a big fan of Starbucks, I am a huge fan of free wireless internet!

But mostly I just explored the old part of the city. It is gorgeous, all the old Spanish buildings, the city walls, the view of the sea, all the little parks and squares. San Juan reminds me so much of Quebec City (except tropical and Spanish). I don’t yet have any photos to share. I didn’t bring my camera, but it was raining most of the time I was out. Once the rain passed though, the sun set and the city was all lit up. It’s already decorated for Christmas, with Nativity scenes and signs saying “Feliz Navidad”.

I’m excited to be able to come back here every week. Cause I’m in love 😊

Feliz Navidad!
Be happy you're not here with the nasty weather lately. Free internet is always wonderful. Congrats on the super shopper thing too. I know you talked about wanting that, so that's good. Yay you!
