I've arrived!

Arrived safely in New Zealand, flights were all OK - no delays, luggage made it (even my extra bag of “nice to haves” came with me :-)), ears held out too - hooray! There was an assortment of dairy milk goodies waiting for me, so I’m happy that I’ve made the right decision (yes, you’re right, it doesn’t take much to please me!).

Had a quick drive round the farm yesterday, the setting is beautiful, just my thing. I was getting stared at by one of the bulls though, so it might be a while before I’m ready to meet the animals ...

Off to Wanaka this afternoon for a weekend of jet boating (speed boats in English speak), I went to Wanaka when I visited NZ in 2004, and remember it was a beautiful place, so I’m looking forward to going back.

Want to say a big thanks to everyone for the well wishes, it means a lot to me :-)

(and yes, I was VERY hungover after my night out on Friday!).
