Oh yeah... we are ripped... our usual workout in India.
Out in the dirt, dust and heat we biked for 2 days straight. The entire area of Hampi, aka "The City of Ruins", is a UNESCO World Heritage Site... I'm beginning to wonder what isn't a UNESCO World Heritage Site in India.

This place had more white people than I had seen since we left Europe under the clouds. Every building was a guest house that rented mopeds and bicycles out back and had a rooftop restaurant. We rented a couple bikes and rode down the dirt trails covering around 50kms over the 2 days. This also included a ride across a river in a huge weaved basket that held 3 motorbikes, 4 bicycles, and about 8 people all piled on top of each other. We climbed ruins, mountains, and then some more ruins... we even fed some monkeys while some kids played with their tires and sticks.

On the last day we headed back to Hospet via rickshaw to catch the worst ride of my life, 17 hours in the most uncomfortable bus of all time. On this ride I noticed I was suffering from heat stroke, something I had only felt for the first time a few
