Well, ona more light-hearted note. I've posted some of the pics of the animals, bugs and reptiles I was lucky enough to see here in Sudan.

HUGE Hornet
This was the biggest wasp/hornet I have ever seen. It was longer than my index finger and almost as big in diameter. When it flew, you could hear ithe buzzing almost 25' away.

I watched this dog watch staright into the mud puddle and sit down to cool off.

This snake had killed this frog, and then somebdoy killed the snake... life is rough for snakes in Sudan. EVERYONE wants to kill you.

Nice Pics
Hey HM, when the h*ll are you coming back? Looking forward to seeing you. I really enjoyed reading the comments from the School in Whistler-particularly from the kid who pointed out your spelling (or typing?) wasn't so good. Those who live in glass houses.... Anyway we're riding this weekend (of course) and I wish you could be there/here. Miss ya buddy.
