super cool photo of the money jumping
So last night I was on our balcony and i was like ho-hum guess no monkeys for me, I was relaly hoping I would get one on our balcony. Even last night both Jay and I woke up once each in the middle of the night to peak on a banan we had left out. Then at about 5.30 I wa sup and couldn't sleep anymore and I looked outside and there was an amazing sunrise so I opened the door and there it was a monkey in the tree across from us, it was a mono titi, an andangered monkey that they said was rare to see, Oh my heart started racing and I called Jay and then we both went nuts, throwing out bananas and trying to capture the monkeys, then I realised Elena and Adam were missing out so I ran up tho their room and apparently I said " Monkeys, monkeys monkeys, there are thousands of them" :-) in fact there were only about 20 -30 and they came right up to us, no fear at all!

It was amazing, unfortunately we did not get as many photos as we thought we would, more excitement and

cute animal, they are all over our second hotel
shaky hands made for some interesting blurry photos. We did get them on tape.

So when we ran out of bananas they started to leave and it was like - oh man.....so I ran inside and cut up some watermelon but it was too late......but just when we thought our monkey experience was over..we heard a crash to the side of us and there was the white faced monkey and another one and another one and even three with little babies ont heir backs, so we ended up being monkey paparazzi for an hour and a half.

Unfortunately the power is going off here in 15 minutes and I am not going to have time till tonight to upload photos but I just wanted to let you guys know we hit another one of my hopes for the trip - we had monkeys eating bananas on our balcony - so cool!!!!!!!!!! They were so cute - we also had this other furry grey creature show up I am not sure what it is called but it looks like a cross between a racon and an ant eater with a pointed noise and it was very calm and came

squirel monkey, very brave and ate bananas on our balcony
close to us and then went in the coconut tree next to our balcony and while the coconut was attached still, managed to bite a hole into it and drink it and then it curled up and went to sleep ontop of the coconuts - how cute!

Sorry if this is all a bit jumbled I am trying to get this all out before we loose power.

Alright we are off the vanilla farms and San Ramon hope to send you cute monkey photos tonight.
