Underground Church
This is the largest underground church in the world. Carved by 3 miners over a period of 68 years; it's deep down in the mine... incredible. Arriving in Poland the roads and highways significantly degraded compared to Germany where we just came from. Construction was everywhere, and what seemed to be fake photo radar cameras every couple kilometers (at least I hope so). It took us longer than expected to arrive in Wroclaw, but upon arrival we magically came across the hostel Kennah had booked for us. After looking around in the most sketchiest train station I have ever been in and having an amazing salad pita we headed off to bed to rest up for the biggest concert/dance rave ever, Sensation White.
The following morning we packed up and checked out, we needed not a place to stay the next night as Sensation White would last until 6AM. After a few beers in the afternoon, we dressed up in all white and drove to the concert. This party, best party I have ever been to, even better than Good Vibes in Sydney. Enter via the normal entrance... I don't think so. Our V.I.P. tickets let us skip the line, have a private balcony, a full course buffet and yes... FREE ALCOHOL all night. With the music starting to pick up we downed numerous Redbull Vodkas
Laserz!
Green lasers shoot out from the DJ's stage in the center. I felt like a barcode being scanned at the supermarket.
-Sensation White and headed down to the crowd. The best part was by far David Guetta. You can checkout a video I took of
David Guetta playing his hit song. As the night went on and our shirts soaked in sweat, Hawk decided it was time to do the unthinkable... coat check all his clothes and run out on the floor in a zebra thong. To my suprise the staff nor security stopped him, and laughed as he searched to find girls who wouldn't run away from him. Videos of this below:
Clothes Check Thong Dance Finishing the concert at 6AM and wide awake from Redbull all night we headed to Warsaw to visit our friend from UBC, Tim Tait, who was living with his Polish girlfriend, Alicia. Her parents cooked us an amazing Polish dinner including perogies, pickled cabbage, many flavours of sausage and fish. After a couple days there all five of us jammed in the car and drove to Krakow about four hours south of Warsaw. Here we took a tour of the largest salt mine in the world which is almost a kilometer deep. It was pretty cool and interesting, but we had to take a tour guide, which kind
Hourse and Buggy
With Poland receiving over 68 billion Euros from the EU to help with their horrible highways and roads infrastructure... many still use the old horse and buggy technique. of slowed it down too much for me. The mine itself was just rock with salt embedded in it, pretty cazy, you could just lick the walls and it was salt. Also the largest underground church in the world was carved into the mine by three miners which took them 68 years to complete. Later in the evening we all went out and got smashed at some different Polish restaurants and bars, the next day I slept in while the others toured a bit.
On Thursday we headed to Auschwitz, the largest Nazi concentration camp in the world.

Salt mine
Hey Penner, cool shots! Never found such a party when I was in Krakow, but enjoyed the salt mine trip too (also a bit long for me), thought the salt church was amazing as was the salt sculpture of Pope John Paul II. Keep on marching through europe and keep enjoying!!!!
