Finally we can sit down. relax, and act like bums. With the pretty scenery behind us of course. The beach here is the cleanest I've ever seen (but maybe I just don't get around enough) and the water is practically crystal clear. You can actually see your feet. The beach gets boring after awhile so we explored the market and some of the shops. In one my mom found a picture of Mary and Jesus. It was a piece of embroidery but it was so well done that you'd think it was a painting. The artist did the shading perfectly. Everyone's going to have to see it when I get home.

We went to Mass today and the Church was pretty nice, except for the lack of AC (at least it wasn't a 2-hour mass like someone had told us. Although there's absolutely nothing wrong with 2 hour masses). And it was crowded. But the architecture made up for it. It was made of stone and had a Renaissance like feel to it. The singing was nice and (I didn't believe it at first) the crucifix had neon lights outlining it. I guess that's considered pretty reverent.
