Poma Lift
On Board Valle Nevado is the name of the first resort I've been to. The translation is snow covered valley and you will see by the photos it lived up to it's name. The resort is an all inclusive setup. For the price of a one day lift ticket at Mammoth you get a lift ticket, a night in a very nice hotel(compaired to the hostels I've stayed in) and breakfast and dinner....not a bad deal! The mountain doesn't compair to back home. I think they have a 800 - 1,000 ft. vertical. But the lack of people and the fact that the locals pretty much stuck to the groomed runs made for many days of powder. There was a storm that left a couple feet of snow the day before I arrived. Bec and I (oh yeah, fyi Rebecca flew out from Australia to meet up for a couple weeks of snowboarding) ended up doing a lot of hiking up to other peaks to get the fresh stuff. What else can I say, the snow was great, the food was great, the accomidations were great, I'd say everything was perfect accept for the damage I did to my board and the
wip lash I gave myself from jumping a cliff (i'll post that video soon, it's on bec's camera and it's pretty funny). Didn't meet a lot of people here as the resort was full of families and couples, but I did make some turns that I will never forget.

oh yeah so
Hey, stop buying post card pics and photoshoping yourself in them. I can't be that beautiful. And way to go with the gash on your minty fresh board hope it was a doozy. Actually the snow sounds like quality. Wish I could be there...
