I´m not usually a big city person.... but buenis aires is fantastic. Although it´s quite obvious that living here would be difficult if having to earn the argentinian peso... there is so much to do here on a holiday! Each part of the city is quite different from the rest, from San Telmo with its cobbled, dark streets and antique shops, to the parks and modern bars/restaurants along the wide streets of palermo. The buses are confusing and there is dog shit everywhere but it is beautiful here! We explored a lot of the main areas of the city... the markets.... the shops.... parilla restaurants.... jazz bars.... local eaterys..... recoleta cemetary...... city and suburb plazas....
The food is great here!!
We went to the cafe of Las madres de plaza de mayo, which was really sad but positive. I was glad to see that they seemed quite strongly supported.
B.A is a bit of a shopping paradise for those on the dollar, or pound, or euro! there are so many clothes shops and all the prices are really good for those travelling on those currencies..... in fact... i want to go back on a shopping trip!!!
anyway..... B.A was great, everyone
