This how life goes here in Phuket. I only have 3 weeks left here and all I can say is time flys when your having fun. Nothing much as really changed here except that I am getting some decent training and I am finally starting to unwind from all the craziness. I have my routines. I train. I sleep. I take night cruises on my motorbike to places I have yet explored. Thailand is beautiful. I could easily use another 6 months here doing nothing. Last night I went on a night cruise with two Icelanders who had never seen lightening before. We went down to Rawai and grabbed a beer and watched the lightening light up the Adaman sea and surrounding islands. It has to be one of my favorite experiences here in Thailand. However, Phuket is pricey I think I will be moving on from this place.
There have been a couple of employment opportunities here. Some are concrete. Some are pure speculation. Let’s just say the next few weeks will be very telling.
While I have no grand pictures to post I thought I should put some up of the people I have met and hung around

Where else can some Icelanders, a couple of Canadians, and Scotsman share a decent drink?
with this last few weeks. They are all great people that made time here very fun.
Finally, I have set up a facebook account. It is at www.facebook.com . A lot of the people from my camp have accounts and I have found it to be a very fun and easy way to stay in touch with everyone. This is of course in addition to my skype account and my website here. I have become such a geek. Anyways, take care everyone and I will give you calls when I get a chance.
Much love and thoughts
Erik

Josh is another Inosanto Kali nut. We have been dubbed the 'crazy knife-weilding Americans' but others in the camp. Brings a warm fuzzy to my heart.

Try sleeping soundly with this beast making a home in your bathroom. We had an epic battle at 3 am. He lost by TKO. He was the size of my fist.

I named it Hannibal. It wiped out the bug population in my bathroom for about a week before moving on. I considered giving him a full time job.

Steve you slacker
Yea steve you are such a slacker - grow up man! I am on Phi Phi Island right now recovering from a great day. It only started out with us stuck on aboat in a freakin giant rain storm being throw all around the deck. Some girls were crying and it was nuts. Moi? I was laughing my ass off. I think a couple of people thought I was crazy because I was laughing as I was throwing up overboard. I even did a Lt. Dan impression in the middle of the storm. The weather cleared and we had a great day. Pics and full story on my next post brother. Take care Erik
