My first day in amsterdam

Hello Everybody.

I AM IN AMSTERDAAAAAMMMM, HAHAHAHAHAHA YAAAH SUCKKAS.
This city is the most bizarre place ive ever seen. We landed at around 1pm. got our bags and went downstairs to the train station where we caught a double decker train to city central, and hopped on a tram (big skinny buslike thing on rails, like a skytrain on the ground, and shorter train) my bag was so big and i was getting knoked over, when i tried to pay the driver for the tram he just winked and said free for you! So i was like hell yeah, good start. Michael didnt sleep on the plane, so he took a nap as soon as we got to our AWESOME hostel lol. I went out right away, cause u all know me, i like to adventure out n shit. So , i went out by myself.. i got yelled at 3 times for walking in a bike lane, i got calling cards, sat by a canal and took pictures, ate my apple and drank my water. I saw one metalhead during my walk, wearing a SYL SHIRT! So i sat and talked with him about vancouvers metal scene, hes from here and istaking a trip to vancouver in august. Also, in this biggie square beside the palace, there was a netted off, BEACH soccer game with sand n bleachers being played, cheer leaders too... in the middle of traffic! this place doesnt smell like pot, amsterdam smells.. kinda like old people, everywhere. I havent seen one weed paraphenilia store once, and i walked for 3 hours around the city. Also one record store that sucked, all it is here is very expensive fashion stores, chinese and indonesian resteraunts, BIKES BIKES BIKES EVERYWHERE, BUDDHA SHOPS!! (i bought me a black buddha man for 5 euro, i had toooo) and cell phone stores.. thats what i saw the most of as i walked around. I just like how in the middle of the city, there are big canals which ppl MOTOR boat through drinking beer blasting music, it looks like a beautiful antique city, that is swarmed with ppl with no respect. Or i guess i could just say theyre used to it here, and take everything around for granted.

My hostel is wicked, 5 bucks an hour for internet, so i thought i would post this.. unfortunatley there isnt a way here to upload pics 😞 but i will find somewhere soon enough..

But yah, i havent done too much yet.. im all sticky and sweater because its killer hot out and the plane was all humid and sickkk.. so im going to have a shower..
I just wanna say how much I miss, and im going to miss everybody, i still have so much shit to do in this continent, its scaring me now, it finally sunk in.

well i guess thats all for now.. i love u all very much and ill be fine.

holy shit, I'm so happy you arrived safely. I was gonna surprise you at the airport when I got off school... but I was afraid that if I got there, I wouldn't find you guys... I would have been there at around 3 ish. man that makes me miss Europe already! I have some good fucking news, though!!! I talked to my dad yesterday, and he's all for sending me to Europe this summer... I'm not sure if I'd come for two months or just one. he's calling my family in Germany today... and my mom says she'd give me $500, as long as my grandparents supported it (it's my grad gift, right?) and I talked to my grandma, too, but she doesn't want me going to Germany... she'd rather have me stay with my aunt in Athens... and visit the village... which I want to do... but I explained to her about WACKEN and shit, hahaha. SO, DUDE, THERE'S A 90% CHANCE THAT I'M COMING!!!!!! it all just depends on my family in Deutschland, whether they can have me there or not! ps. how long did it take for your Wacken pass to come in the mail? I'm thinking of getting it at the gates, but, Cedric told me they might sell out... pps. I LOVE YOU!

heybuddy, my wacken ticket came in like 2 weeeks! very quick... id order it for sure.. thisis AWESOME.. as meeting up is concerned u should just meet us in hamburg on the 1st or something, im meeting pam and chris and cheyenne there that day, like at the train station or some shit.... so yah thats wicked.. im leaving amsterdam tomorrow, we did so much walking today.. my legs are raw haha fuck sakes.. anyways miss u buddy talk soon<3
