WHAT?!

Did I seriously never write about Tinnamen Square (can't spell it) the Forbidden City or the Temple of Heaven?! I'm a dork. Don't worry, these places were amazing too. Im bummed we didn't stay in the Forbidden City more, it was amazing & had lots of little museum type things with rooms preserved. The vivid colors and architecture literally take your breath away, and my finger got tired from snapping pictures. Temple of Heaven was crazy, look it up, and read about the perfectly concentric whispering wall. Absolutely amazing. Tinnamnen Square was massive, as they all were, and the huge picture of Mao Zedong was intimidating. The guards are everywhere & very serious. I haven' tseen a Chinese person smile in a photo yet either, how weird is that? WE also have gone to a pearl factory (pink and purple pearls are native to China) and a cloisonnaire factory?? Type of enameling that's hard to describe but very pretty. The intricacy of watching the artisans works is fascinating. Ok, I really do have to go now but I wanted to grant something to those amazing sites from the first day. If i DID write about tthem, please ignore my crazy mind. My hair appears to be shedding & my skin is falling apart from the water, so if my pictures from now on feature me in a SARS mask that's why 😊 LOVE! ME! PS- the weather is gorgeous!!! even if i look like a creep in my long shorts & tennis shoes. at least i don't have a fanny pack 😊
