Kez & Nick Arrive!

Puerto Escondido.

Yeeeeeeeeeha! The arrival of Kez & Nick was fantastico!! Soooooo great to see two friendly faces that know me and I know them, we sank instantly into sync on their arrival at 12pm and began catching up on 8 months of travel stories, I gladly filled them in on the VE news! (me? gossip, noooo, only facts....Anoek´s name didn´t pop up at all!) They asked after everyone and wish ya´ll the best!

Guess what we have been doing, yes, surfing and sunbathing! It´s shirt drippingly hot and humid here, nothing stay dry for long so we´ve been louging around in hammocks and tryin not to get too burnt. I´ve failed, I am a card carrying ´Brit Abroad´ with a full on lobster burn-esque look, its totally fashionable, it matches my red beach shorts perfectly!

Nick and I had a mad time with our surfing teacher at low tide today (8:30am), the maestros were both really good, I found out I´ve been leading with the wrong darn foot all this time, so *thats* why I am struggling....hooray, I have something to blame for not being a pro by now! Kez has done a sterling job of supporting the men from the waters edge, lying flat on her back with a book in her hand. :-)

I´ve listened to K&N and I am adapting my plans, I am now going back to Oaxaca City so they can see it too, then San Christobal/Palenque to see the ruins, after that we are going to Guatemala which was never in my plan, but I am always game for a fun adventure!

Hurray: Wicked Weasel bikinis (if you don´t get it, then, ask Christian). Hammocks!
Argh: Toe blisters from running on the beach.

Let's go to the kitchen dude!
It's so cool to see us on your blog!! For sure the adventures are going to keep coming but we should slow down on the rum. And Kez reckons you guys rock on those waves, especially the few times you make it to the kitchen and she can actually see you from her perch up on the beach.

Senhor Diablo. Great to hear you're having such a great time! I'm not jealous of your wicked weasel spotting! Hope you were thoughtful enough to capture it on film, as they can be elusive little buggers! I've never seen one out in the wild myself before, so would appreciate to the some photography of it!
