At LAX

Well here we are at LAX airport. On the final leg of our journey. Wow, I get the feeling that tomorrow we're gonna be EXHAUSTED! So far the journey has been ok...just very long, oh and did I mention LONG?!!

The seat gods have been shining upon us (well the Qantas check in staff at least!) as on our trip from Perth to Sydney while we didnt get emergency exit seating - we did get an aisle and a window with no one in between us (despite the plane being almost full!) so we were able to stretch out a little.

Arrived in to Sydney early morning (I tried my best to try and catch Benny but we musta just missed him) so we holed up in the Qantas club for a few hours - best few hundred dolllars i've spent I reckon. We had a play on the internet, some breakfast and then I indulged in a shower (I swear the bathroom was twice the size of ours at home!!!).

The 12 hour flight from Sydney to LA....well - yeh, what can you say about a 12 hour flight? It's long! BUT god bless the Qantas staff, as we were seated in the first row of economy behind business class, so had super leg room YAY! Spent our time eating, watching movies and sleeping.

I think Dean's feeling a little more weary than me but as I sit here typing I think it's catching up with me. A big apology to all those who keep commenting on how funny my blogs are - doubt this one will be at all! Do my sentences even make sense?!!

LAX immigrations and customs weren't the nazis that we heard they were and it was a smooth process all the way through. We only have about 45 minutes until we reboard our plane and head for the big apple 😊 Just enough time for a Vodka and some lunch, er breakfast, er dinner (god who knows, we've passed that many time zones I have no bloody idea!!! but SOMEWHERE in the world i'm sure it's an appropriate time for a Vodka right?!!!).

Just asked Dean what he'd like to add to the blog and he says... "LONG FLIGHTS SUCKS" - oh so eloquent!!!
