And finally on the 6th attempt they are ready to go.
Hi,

Well once again sorry it's taken so long. (seems to be a recurring beginning to these blogs) However in my defence I'm sure that you don't really want to hear all about us working, eating and sleeping which is pretty much what we've been up to.

So today has been a little disruptive. Our bathroom upstairs is undergoing some maintenance in the bathroom. (For the last week we have had no toilet - so this is being fixed - the problem is quite disgusting and I'm not going into it). Anyways since the room is construction zone it's meant that Tyson has spent all day sitting around downstairs computering. (which I'm sure he does really enjoy). Hmmmmmm what else has been happening. Oh yes grocery shopping was done this morning. (fun times - Tyson loves the grocery shopping!!! )

No really that only big event that I really have to update you on (and it's not all that big) is The Grand National. The big race of the year over hear. Not knowing what it was actaully about entirely I entered into a sweep to try and win some money. I then watched the race and

was a little concernced for the horses. (poor things is a little cruel really). So it took them 6 or more goes to start the race. Basically there is a rope which they string out across the track and it's up to the jockey's to line the horses up along it facing the right way. So needless to say excited horses jump around and turn around the wrong way and then they have to start again. So eventually it gets started. The first few jumps go ok (for those who were unaware (like me) its a steeple chase with jumps etc...) but then all of a sudden horses and falling over Jockey's are falling off and it look terrible. Some of the horses almost completed the whole race without jockey's. And then you see the fallen jockey's standing inside the fence watching the end of the race. So by the end of the long race the horses are obviously buggered and don't have much left. So of course there is a straight to finish and it's time to get out the whip and whack them across the finish line. (you could see the horses really struggling) Now I'm not an

activist for animal rights or anything but I really felt for the horses in this one. Not nice at all. Plus I didnt' win. (I think my horse fell over).

And the other thing that is actaully happening today is St Georges day. It's not actaully a holiday and doesn't seem to be a really huge huge deal. Maybe its' because it's on a Monday?? Anyways we are holding a special quiz which will hopefully be good.

Oh yes and not to brag or anything but Tyson and I have both been awarded a degree in ladder holding after helping Harry by holding a ladder while he changed the lights outside. (Harry is not a big fan of heights) And I also have a degree in chair painting after spending a morning painting our garden chairs. (My shoes and pants also have a few green spots on them)

Well unfortunately that is pretty much all I've got. Tyson is planning to go to a football match soon so that should be exciting. And we are starting to plan our European journeys. Looks like we'll be off in July!!!!

Anyways love to you all.

Oh yes
The Winner!The Winner!The Winner!

The winner is the one that managed to stay standing with a rider and is now completely stuffed at the end of the race!
and for anyone interested in the prognosis of my toe (see previous blog including picture) The toenail is now starting to fall off. Unfortunately the botom half is gone (where it was black) and the top half remains. It looks very strange and bad!!! Oh well I guess that's what nail polish is for (when the nail actaully grows back

Bye bye now.

Hope to write again sooner............

Hey - Cool- did you guys actually go The Grand National? If so - that would have been so much fun. Back from Morocco - had a fab time but unfortunatley have the travel bug back and want to go to Malta. Croatia, and sardinia, don't like my chances - Andy is not letting me out of his sight. Love to Tyson and stay safe.
