Untitled April 18th and it was Ginnies birthday. And, as Sally pointed out, in USA years she is only 1! This is the first birthday that she has spent in the country of her birth!
Many thanks to those who have sent cards and gifts and called to say hello!
Unfortunately I had a pretty stinking cold, so we couldn't do much on the day, in fact I spent most of the afternoon in bed. But I had booked Ginnie a 90 minute massage which she really enjoyed and then she spent the afternoon 'pampering herself' with a long bath and a facial; then did her nails! As I still wasn't up to much in the evening, Ginnie went out for dinner with Sheila and Clare which she really enjoyed. When she came home, we put a little candle on the chocolate cake from the restaurant and sang Happy Birthday! See the video attached! Click on the video/filmstrip icon to the left. Once I'm up and about, we'll go out for the day somewhere to make up for yesterday!
