Crazy Encounters....

Hey Everyone!

So at first I thought I was going to be really good about this travel blog business..but it turns out I'm not at all.... It's really difficult to find the time to get online and post pictures, by the end of the day we are BEAT!

Between running for trains, seeing sites, and getting in trouble with cops, we don't have much time for internet browsing! Some CRAZY things have happened to us these past couple of days!

We spent several days in Austria, which I fell completely head over heels with! I'd love to go back to Austria and spend some more time...with more MONEY! Austria is way too expensive for backpackers. Vienna was breathtaking and Salzburg was simply marvelous!

From Slovakia we hiked across the Slovakian and Hungarian border and visited some of the local sites. We took a train into Budapest and saw everything tourists have to see, it was really nice but a little too dirty for my taste....... On our way back to Vienna on the train this crazy Romanian women was trying to illegally immigrate into Austria and security had to force her off the train. She threw an absolute FIT and pulled the fire alarm, which was a disaster. More about that later.... 😊

Because of recent terrorist attacks in London, security is TIGHT across all the borders, so even though the European Union doesnt require passports across borders, they check them everywhere. On the train from Hungary to Austria security thought my passport was FAKE and they thought Vanda's was as well. They gave Vanda this psychological test in order to determine she REALLY was who she said she WAS and that she REALLY was Slovak. The test was hilarious, it asked her to draw pictures of ladders and butterflies in Slovakian!!

After spending several days in Austria and Hungary we traveled towards Eastern Slovakia where we visited several beautiful castles and hiked across the tetras mountains. Today we returned to Nitra and tomorrow we head to PRAGUE!!!!

Needless to say, we are having an absolute blast!

Wow looks like you guys are having a great time over there, it's great you're getting to travel around Europe aye. lol what's up with those tests...? Does your passports look dodgy or something ;) =P Reading about your adventures is making want to be there with you all.
