Less than 3 weeks!!!

Road Trip 2007
Dean & SarahWOW can you believe it?! Less than 3 weeks to go until we leave for the US 😊 It feels pretty surreal. I don't feel nearly as prepared for this trip as I did for China. With work being so busy, studying at uni and of course the car accident I haven't had too much time to dwell on getting ready or write a thousand lists like I would usually (ok so I have ONE list but that aint bad...just the one!).

So, for those we havent had a chance to let know...being the computer addicts that we are (i'll confess this was more my idea than Dean's!) we have purchased a laptop and will be taking it with us to the states. Most of the motels/hotels we're staying in have free wireless access so we figured it would be easier than making heaps of phone calls back home and trying to find internet cafes etc to use to keep in touch.

So all going as planned, we'll be able to post updates fairly frequently to let you know how we're going and what mischief we've been up to. Of course over the internet we'll have access to all our usual email addresses - but the primary one we'll be using is [e-mail] - if you need to get in touch with us more urgently, we will be taking both of our mobile phones with us.

For those we haven't already bragged to - the basic run down of the trip is as follows....

We fly from Perth to Sydney and then Sydney to New York (with a stop over to refuel in LA). Ladies and gentleman, right there you have about 30 hours of continuous travel already AGH!! Dean & I have a few days in NYC checking out the sites, before training up to Roo & Joey's place in Connecticut. We have a few days there, before heading to New Hampshire to meet some other friends Debbie & Andres.

From there we meet our travelling companions John & Jen (yep the crazy English couple from our China tour!) in Boston. And thus begins the road trips to end all road trips including Niagara, Washington DC, Orlando, New Orleans (meeting Nikki & Andrew hopefully), Dallas (to meet up with Dean's brother), New Mexico, the Grand Canyon and VEGAS BABY.

In Las Vegas we're meeting up with Kate and one of her travelling buddies Toni. And from there the six of us hit Yosemite, San Franciso and Los Angeles. PHEW!!!!
