Mutton Cove. Completely deserted golden beaches. One of the most beautiful places we've seen.

We couldn't go to the Nelson region without seeing Abel Tasman National Park. We got a water taxi from Kaiteriteri as far up as we could go (Totaranui) and walked along the coast for 4 hours to Whariwharangi Bay where we stayed the night in a hut. Then we walked back the next morning! It was pretty tough but was well worth it because the views we amazing. Clear water, deserted golden beaches, dolphins, seals and loads of sunshine. One of the best things we've done.

20m of private, secluded, golden, sandy beach up for grabs to the first to arrive each day. We rested here for a while. Quite nice really.

The blog is back
It's so good to be following your travels again, have missed the blog sooo much. Some fantastic photos again and the area looks idyllic. When Grandad saw the photo of the hut he said it was more like house than a hut! He was impressed by how far you had walked. Look forward to the next update. Love to you both. Love Mum xxxxxx
