Hi again,

Yes I know updating so soon.......

Well I have some spare time. And a little bit to write about.

Ok so not sure if I mentioned last time (and can't be bothered to go back and read it) but our manager has had to fly home to South Africa for a bit (I think I did actually) So as of Thursday I have been doing the morning shifts. Which is a 7 until 5/6. Fun times. (it's not to bad really). So I give the hotel guests their breakfasts and get everything ready. (count the monety etc...) Very exciting. Poor Tyson has had to do 2 split shifts this week (which he hates - everyone hates a split) Today he's worked 12 to 3 and is back working again now until close. (all collectively sigh sympatheticly for Tyson)

Anyways I'm sure that the above has excited everyone completely. Hmmm. Oh yes. So the heating isn't working here at the moment which has certainly been fun. The first night it died Harry had all hotel guests coming down to winge about the cold. So they explained the heat isn't working. I think some people expect

It took a bit of work. But look at me go!
you to magically fix it. Kind of like the people who want you to create extra chairs on days such as mother's day (see previous blog - I think) Anyways I was upstairs at the time and noticed it was colder. I just thought it was me and didn't bother to check the radiator so I got an extra blanket and was all good. Tyson came up later and told me. (hmmmm that explains it then.)

Anyways really it's not to bad it's just like a winter at home. It's about 10 degrees or so I suppose. Which is like some mornings at home and at home there is no heating. It's just that the English ALWAYS have heating. Kind of like Australians with airconditioning in summer. (It's just not right to be without). The worst part for me is having to get up at 6 and have a shower in an unheated bathroom. Not nice at all!

Anyways now for the exciting bit....... Due to lack of heating we have had to then light the fire downstairs. Wednesday Evelyn lit it. Yesterday Harry lit it and....... Today I LIT IT!!! Yay for me! Perhaps not exciting to anyone else but it was a good fire. And it's the first time I've ever lit a fire in a fireplace. (done the odd BBQ but this is a little different.) Unfortunately it was girl fire and was high maintenance. (apparently some of us girls are like that) I had to keep prodding, poking and rearranging it all day. But... I lasted all day and several people commented on how good of fire it was. How excitement (for me)

Well unfortunately that's all I've got. Amazing that I've managed to drag it out this long really. Been really tired the last couple of days and am generally in bed by 9.30 or earlier. (It's nice and warm in there to)

Anyways will write again soon.

Love you all
Bye bye now
