Christchurch

We've had a nice few days in Christchurch. It's been very hot the last two days so have mainly been wandering the town at a slow pace, checked out some nice local markets, been to the museum and art gallery and the botanic gardens. Had a lovely dinner out last night. Shashi tried the huge green lipped mussels which are only found on South Island and then lamb and I went for fish of the day, so it was a very fresh, NZ meal.
We fly to Sydney tomorrow so the next blog should be from Australia! 5 weeks have gone already - 7 more to go.
