I hope the title isn't misleading as I will not be reporting on any recent adventures, but rather letting you in on some upcoming adventures!
Number 1- I'm going to Sydney this weekend! Should be a good time. Its the Mardi Gras parade on Saturday which is the Sydney equivalent to Pride so it should be a fantastic time!
Number 2- I'm going to China!!! I'm super excited. For my second practicum I will be heading out to China to teach English in high schools. Apparently its an amazing time and we get to see a lot of the sights. The group going seems pretty nice so far and I am very excited for the experience. (not the 12 hour flight)
Number 3- I'm not sure yet! I feel like while I am down in this area of the world I should try and see as much of it while I can (with little or no regard for loans or bank accounts apparently) So I am seriously looking at Thailand and New Zealand and of Course as much Australia as I can fit in! If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them 😊
So right now I am smack in the middle of a ton of work- next week is our last week before our first Prac (I know, three weeks of teachers college and we are already out teaching) but I have 4 assignments due next week. 2 on Tuesday and 2 on Friday. They aren't that complicated, but involve a lot of work. One of them involved making a collage that demonstrates our idea of education. Sound simple? Yes, but I am totally over thinking it and trying to fit everything in. The collage has to be accompanied with a 400 word essay, 400 words! I have probably written more in this blog entry already! I will let you know how I do 😊
Okay, one last thing:
Similar: There is a MAckinnon building on campus.
Different: The don't have pennies here, amounts are rounded up or down.
Coffee- they don't just have black coffee- its all european and complicated
Cheers yall! Miss home a lot. Tried to make some Mac and Cheese and it was so gross.
Adam
PS- Heidi wins the first package award! Thanks for the Lost and Grey's anatomy episodes! I think Amanda sent something a long time ago, but I haven't received it, so I will consider it a tie!

Ideas for seeing Australia
Hey Adam, You should look into Oz Experience. It's run by Adventure tours and they take you on pre-planned, off-the-beaten-path, type deal with activities included. I was on the tour just before they changed hands and became Adventure tours but seriously check it out! Totally worth it! Awesome times and you meet so many people. Jo
