We finally left California yesterday and arrived in the Bullhead City area of Arizona to visit my (Brandi's) cousin Michael and his wife Melissa and their kids Megan (11), Mason (9), and Michael (6). Again, I haven't seen Mike and Melissa since I was pretty young, I think 14, although I did get to see Megan and Mason in 2005 at the last family reunion in Florida. Sadly, we didn't get to meet Matthew, the youngest, who passed away last month. They're such a great family and we really wish we could spend more time here, but Mike and Melissa are leaving for the weekend to take some kids from their church on a youth group camping trip.

They took us out to dinner last night and we stayed up pretty late talking and catching up. The kids are great to just observe, they all have such unique personalities, and even though they wrestle around a lot they really get along pretty well and totally love each other.

Today we drove out to this little old-west style town called Oatman. It's a little town about a block long on a dirt road, and there are "wild" donkeys that just roam around. But they're not so wild anymore because people come and feed them. I got to feed them a whole bag of carrots! Wes wouldn't do it though... We had fun, even though we missed the fake gun battle that they do every day in the middle of the street. Definitely a spot to visit if you ever find youself in this area! Tomorrow we're off to Phoenix, and hopefully up to the Grand Canyon in a few days if it stops snowing...
