She's so cute, I thought Gwen would appreciate her...I dunno why...
We went on a trip this weekend to Brno, the second largest city in Czech Republic. Its located in Moravia which is south of Prague. Brno appeared to be a mini Prague but nice. We found fabulous Indian food one night for dinner and as my friend John described it, "it was definitly in the top three best meals of my life." We hada great time wandering around taking in the old buildings. Saturday we went to the musuem and battlefield of Auschelitz, where Napolean fought the three kings, or the three musketeers if you ask Jess. Napolean won, just in case you were wondering. There was this really sweet building/monument constructed on the battlefield, and on the inside you could speak from one corner of the building to the other just by whispering, because the acoustics were amazing. My friend Jess and I sent coded messages back and forth, mostly consisting of the word "devetecet" which is pretty much the best word in the Czech language. Its so fun to say. Even with all our fun, Jess was still unimpressed.
That night we went to a dinner and wine tasting at a vineyard in the region. The entire region makes

We really like the wheel.
almost its entire money form wine and it has been a pasttime of those living there for years. We got to taste test four wines and if we so chose we could buy two bottles for 150 Kr., which equals about 7 dollars. The wine was fabulous and we had a wonderful dinner. Miles tried his luck at the syphoning contest and won, so he got a bottle of the finest wine, he was pretty thrilled.
We also went to the garden where Gregor Mendel tested his peas!!! Cooper was the only one really excited about that stop.
The best stopover was caves we visited in Moravia on the way home to Prague. The stalactites and stalagmites were amazing and so were the tunnels. I believe the tunnels were formed from snow runoff and there were openings that were undescribable. We also got to take a boat ride through part of the cave it was nothing I had ever experienced...the most unfortunate part was that my camara battery was dead by the caves so all my pictures were bummed off of my friend Josh. This was a great weekend and I met a good group of people which I hope

These boats carried us through the tunnels in the caves and we had to duck our heads to get through some parts of the excursion.
